Privacy policy
The short version: your documents are yours, they are processed only to make them accessible, they stay in the US, they are never used to train AI models, and you can delete everything yourself.
What we collect
Account information: your name, email address, and organization name — used to run your account and nothing else.
Documents: the PDFs (and Word files) you upload for checking or remediation, plus the accessible outputs we produce from them.
Billing: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers — we keep only the transaction history needed for accounting.
Support: the messages you send us through support tickets.
Basic usage analytics on our marketing pages (Google Analytics). We do not run analytics scripts inside your documents or the editor.
How your documents are used
Documents are processed for exactly one purpose: producing your accessibility check and your remediated output. Processing uses Google Cloud's paid Document AI and Gemini APIs, whose terms prohibit using your content to train models.
We do not sell, share, or mine your documents. Nobody reviews them except where you explicitly ask for help with a specific file.
All processing and storage happens in United States regions.
How long we keep things
Documents: kept until you delete them, or automatically removed on the retention schedule your organization sets (30 days to 1 year) in Settings.
Account data: kept while your account is active.
If you delete your account, your documents and login are permanently removed. Anonymized billing records are retained for accounting and tax purposes, with nothing linking them back to you.
Who else touches data
We use a small set of service providers: Google Cloud (hosting and document processing), Supabase (database, login, storage), Stripe (payments), Brevo (transactional email), and n8n (internal new-signup notifications). The full list, with regions, is on our Security page.
We disclose data only if legally required, and we will tell you unless the law forbids it.
Your rights
Access, correction, export, and deletion — for account data and documents alike. Deletion is self-service in Settings, or email us and we will do it for you.
California (CCPA/CPRA) and EU/UK (GDPR) residents: the rights above are how we honor those laws. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
