Remediation validation results
Final test on fresh, previously unseen documents. PDF/UA remediation, validated for real screen-reader usability.
Nine documents were run through AccessiblePDF in a single pass and validated with the PAC accessibility checker. Scores reflect first-pass output on files the engine had not seen before — including a 70-page procurement package and a 47-page legal document.

Screen-reader verification
Validator pass alone does not guarantee a usable document. Every file was remediated with language tagging (en-US) and image alt text, then reviewed in the NVDA screen reader to confirm reading order, table navigation, and heading structure. Preview captures are appended separately.
Method: each document was processed in a single pass with no iteration, then validated with the PAC reference checker. One document was excluded because its source file was corrupt and would not open. Names are replaced with document types for privacy.
